We are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer to extend our DevOps practice and platform automation.
You must love Infrastructure as code and seek to build clean and streamlined deployment pipelines. You thrive in working in an agile team focused on delivering results in an efficient and scalable way.
Responsibilities you will have:
You will be part of our Nuxeo Cloud Team and work with experienced engineers and architects to maintain, improve, update, and extend the current automation.
Your day to day assignments will include:
Participate in Creating Implementation Strategies
- Security and traceability
- Performance and scale
Implement Automation Pipelines
- Provide configurability
- Ensure quality, testability, and reproducibility
- Utilize Nuxeo and platform metrics to automate scale out and scale down
- Make the infrastructure as responsive as possible
Collaborate with Dev Teams to Troubleshoot Issues
- Pair with developers
- Provide insights into monitoring and logging metrics
As the Nuxeo Platform evolves constantly: continuous delivery, automation, testing and scaling of our cloud platform and stack will change as well.
Nuxeo Cloud Team
The Nuxeo Cloud Team builds and manages the infrastructure needed to host applications built on the Nuxeo content services platform. We use AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins to deploy and update in a completely automated way:
- Platform builds
- Stack deployment
- Stack configuration
- Initial application deployment
- Rolling Application updates
- Blue/Green environment promotion
- Stack and cluster scale out and scale down
The Automation stack comes with the ‘battery included’: Monitoring and Log aggregation with DataDog, intrusion and threat detection with ThreatStack, high availability and disaster recovery architectures, multiple backup strategies, and our own homebrew sauce for additional security and automation tooling.
The deployed stack relies on the Nuxeo Open Source Platform and associated stack technologies including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and relies on many AWS technologies and services including EC2, EBS, EFS, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Route 53, AWS IAM and KMS, ElastiCache, Snowball, and Lambda.
